CNN’s Larry King has lined up interviews with the husband and mother of the late actress Brittany Murphy.
British screenwriter Simon Monjack, the actress’ husband, and Sharon Murphy, the actress’ mom, will have an hour interview on “Larry King Live” at 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 20th.
CNN is billing the chat as Monjack and Murphy’s first in-depth TV interview since the actress died Dec. 20. Brittany Murphy, who was 32, had collapsed at her Hollywood Hills home. The coroner’s office is waiting on a toxicology report before ruling on what killed her.

I will definitely watch this.
Here in Europe, CNN International will air this interview on January 21, 11 a.m. CET.
Oh, I’m definitely going to watch it. I’m just fearful for her mom Sharon. I hope that she wasn’t pressured into doing interviews this soon and I hate the thought of her grief being exploited.
I don’t like the way Larry King handles his interviews. He asks inappropriate questions and can be rude at times. Not intentionally, but out of stupidity. (sorry, but that’s just how I feel)
I will turn the channel if I feel he is being disrespectful to her.
I can understand why she would want to clear her daughter’s name. It must be extremely hard to hear such awful things being said about Brittany!
I don’t believe she was anorexic or deranged at all.
115 lbs @ 5′ 6″ is thin in my opinion, but not deadly thin. As far as the drugs go..you don’t have to be an addict in order to die. If you have certain health conditions you can run into serious problems by mixing basic stuff like cold medicine or even certain vitamins. Alcohol or even occasional drug use or prescribed drugs can kill you depending on what regular medications you are taking. There are many factors there and that’s why it doesn’t matter to me what the toxicology reports say. It could happen to anyone.
After reading her mother’s comments I do believe it was heart failure, but even if it turns out to be something else – it wouldn’t change how I feel about Brittany as an actress or a person. She was beautiful and talented and her death is a great loss to Hollywood.
To be honest, I don’t really know Larry King that well. I’ve only watched his show two or three times in my life and he’s not that famous in my country (Germany) anyway. So I have no idea how he usually handles his interviews and what to expect from this.
But I agree with what jen said about Brittany at the end of her comment. It doesn’t really matter to me how she died, because nothing will change the way I feel about her. She was an amazing actress and a wonderful person and she will always have a special place in my heart.
I don’t have a TV, do you have a link to watch this?? I cannot find it.
I am still so sad over her death.
I loved her.
Thanks for making this site
love~
Brittany Murphy will always be an inspiration. She was beatiful inside and out, she was so full of life. Our favorite actress, she will forever live on in our hearts. Our prayers and thoughts are with her loved ones – May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
